*first the ac blower isn't working but I was told that it may be something other than the blower itself where would I find this and how would I test to see if this would be it.

*second my check engine light intermittently comes on and I had it tested, also while the light was on at certain rpm's the car would jerk a little and then sometimes it would almost not even want to take off when I would push the gas and vibrate alot. The test for the light came back with:
P0742
definition
BBTCC stuck on
BBTCC command off by the ECM- TCC slip detected
BBafter off command
probable cause
BB1-TCC solenoid failure
BB2-open or short circuit condition
BB3-blocked passage in transmission
BB4-check transmission range switch for proper operation

For the blower, check the blower resister, they overheat and burn very common problem.as far as the code, follow this info,Subject:
Whine Noise In Park Or Neutral, Service Engine Soon or Service Vehicle Soon Lamp Illuminates (Replace Drive Sprocket Support Bearing)

Models:
1999-2000 Buick LeSabre, Park Avenue/Ultra, Regal, Riviera
1999-2000 Chevrolet Lumina, Monte Carlo, Venture
2000 Chevrolet Impala
1999 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight
1999-2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue, Silhouette

with 3.4L, 3.5L or 3.8L Engine (VINs E, H, K, 1-- RPOs LA1, LX5, L36, L67)
and Hydra-Matic 4T65-E Transaxle/Transmission (RPOs MN3, MN7, M15)

This bulletin is being revised to add the Chevrolet Impala to the models affected. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 00-07-30-007 (Section 07 - Transmission/Transaxle).

Condition

Some owners of the listed models equipped with a Hydra-Matic 4T65-E transaxle with a Julian Date prior to 0045 may comment on a whine noise in PARK and/or NEUTRAL or a Service Engine Soon or Service Vehicle Soon lamp that is illuminated. Upon investigation, a DTC P0741 or P0742 may be found.

Cause

The above condition may be due to drive sprocket support bearing fluting and/or bearing failure.

Correction

Replace the drive sprocket support bearing. Inspect the channel plate and drive sprocket for any abnormal wear, Turbine shaft for cut seals and/or nicks, and chain for excessive play due to failed bearings.

Important : When installing the new bearing, the part number MUST be visible (facing upward). Before installing the drive sprocket, lubricate the bearing assembly with J 36850 assembly lubricant.

Refer to the 4T65-E Unit Repair Section for the installation procedure.

So I would have to find this info on the transmission?
I'm not going to be able to do this, would a mechanic do this? Is there any other way to find the problem?
Also I have recently noticed that the check engine light only comes on after driving for 25 mins or more then if I let it sit the light goes off and the problem goes away.
Also I noticed when I have it in drive and I am driving along if I let off of the gas the RPM gauge goes down about 1 grand and when I reapply pressure to the gas it goes back up 1 grand before it feels like it is going again like it is in neutral until it gets there. If I drive in 3rd 2nd or first gear it does not do this? It drives normal!
Last another thing I noticed is SOMETIMES I hear a sound that sounds like the noise your powersteering pump makes when it is going out only this sound does not change when you move the steering wheel it changes with the RPMS of the engine/transmission. Not the speed of the car but the speed of the engine/ transmission. Thank you in advance, JOHN.

Before you do anything, these vehicles only came with a 4T65-E trans, the info above fits the problems you describe, the check engine going on and off is an intemittent problem. Scan it for any codes. What is the VIN I will tell you what trans it has.
