Air Conditioning problem
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a problem with car missing and cutting off when I turn on A/C the engine fans kicks on and engine never run hot , engine runs at normal temp of 180. Once the car has cool down and restarted I can drive and go anywhere and engine will not miss or cut off as long as I don't turn n A/C

You might have an alternator problem of not charging enough. Or it coul dbe a battery going bad. Most auto parts can check both but the alternator needs to be off the car. Make sure your battery is chargedb efore getting it tested.
