when starting out driving my car it shifts 1 time and then 2 times it sounds like it wants to shift again but doesnt- my rpm's run between 1-2 at 60 mph or more, does this mean my transmission is slipping?

If it is between 1K and 2K RPM's at 60mph, that sounds normal. Are you sure it isn't shifting?
