Ok I rewired my radio to insure no wires were exposed and touching but i still have the problem with my fan. It only turns on when turned to High(5) with hesitation, when on any other option it shuts off the head lights. I have heard a common problem with the Resistor going bad on these cars, could that be affecting the Blower? I did buy a Resistor anyways to just eliminate possiblities, but i dont know exactly where this is on the car. Are there any pictures avaliable? My Repair manual doesnt show it at all.
Ok Ok So I replaced the resistor, Im surprised that didnt fix the problem, but did stop hesitation with the fan on 5. lookd fried and rustd. So It was on its way out. Im lookn into the wiring config for the fan control and see where else i could have a fault that may affect the day/night light sensor. Any other ideas would still be great!
