1998 Pontiac Grand Prix Front Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles
This car has a 3800 motor. It's a GT but not a GTP high output motor. This car starts and runs fine most of the time. But randomly the car will stall while in gear. Sometimes it is difficult to restart. But for now it does restart. The check engine light flashes. Sometimes the TRAC OFF light comes on and coincidentally the motor stalls. Is this a mass air flow issue? Is it an electrical short? Usually I prefer to change my own parts and electrical trouble shooting can be expensive. So what do you suggest?
