1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My rack n pinion just went out and want to know whats the cheapest way to resolve my problems.Should i get a repair kit, buy are built one,buy a new one or just go through a shop?

that's totally up to you, i would suggest purchasing a used one from the local salvage yard though.
