1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

My buddy has a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 2DR. The power window switch went bad. He is a poor college student. I found a 96 Chevy Monte Carlo switch in the junk yard. It looks like it has the same connector. Does anyone know if the pinout is the same?

see if you can match up the part numbers. if not call your local dealer and see if it will work. i think it should but not 100% sure.
