Hello,

Is it a knock or does it sound more like a rattle or deiseling sound. If it is more like a rattle then I would say that it could be the Timing Belt has jumped timing and need to be replaced.

It could also be the lifters...

Also could be a weak Oil Pump...

First thing to do is to check Timing then Oil Pressure....
