Do you have step by step instructions for installing a cat converter in my car. The car was tested and the sensor light indicated that the cat was bad.

Its located in the exhaust system u have to cut it off and depend on what u have for replacement
part
weld it on or fits over the old pipe and use clamps to secure it
I would say let a shop do it
