i have oil in the radiator it appears to be engine oil but no coolant in oil . what could be the most likely problems? thanks for any info you can give me

Check the radiator for tranny lines attached, it may be tranny fluid. If not, get a block test kit at the parts store, they cost about 50.00 bucks, and it will tell if HC's are in the coolant, meaning it's oil due to a cracked head, block, or blown head gasket.
