1994 Pontiac Grand Prix think it's a short

I was driving home this evening and all of a sudden all lights on dash were coming o and lights went dim. The car died. After wiggling the steering wheel and turning knobs the car started again. I was able to get almost home when lights started flashing and car died. I noticed the ABS and brake light coming on first. What could it be and where do I start looking?

sounds like you have a battery or alternator problem, your gonna need to have them tested to be sure. I dont think you have a short.
