Hi,
My power door locks on my Pontiac Grand Prix suddenly stopped working. I can open and close the doors with the remote, but pressing the switch on either the driver's side or passenger side does nothing. Both doors open fine both manually and with the remote control.

I didn't think it was a short because the mechanism still works with the remote, plus the power window switches located on the door are still working as well. Could you point me in the direction of where the problem might be?
Many thanks.

Have you checked to see if there is power to the lock switch on the driver's door?
