Electrical problem
1992 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
i know that i have a bad oxygen sensor because i have a check engine light on sometimes and the car stalls in neutral when the engine gets warm. the problem is i cant locate the sensor and im not sure how to change it. is it a plug in wiring system or do i have to connect them. im almost positive its not located on the catalytic converter unless i just cant see it.

The oxygen sensor are usually located near the fire wall, it looks like a spark plug screwed into the exhaust manifold or pipe with an electrical connection coming out of the top of it. You may need a special wrench to remove it, you can rent it from an outo parts store.
