Is a 3100 series engine the same as a 3.1L engine?
Need a 3.1L engine for the Grand Prix, Found a 3100 series engine out of a 93 chevy Lumina. Will the 3100 work with the wiring harnesses on the Grand Prix? (Would donate if I had the cash, A little strapped for cash at the moment) Thank-you

Hi tygargirl
Yes a 3100 AND A 3.1 ARE THE SAME ENGINE
as for your wireing harness you will mostlikely need to use the plantum off your old engine. but look at it if all the plugs are the same no prob. i think you will find it is all the same.. good luck feel free to ask as many questions as you like
