Brakes problem
1992 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix SE has a single leaking back brake line on due to rust. I am looking for an estimate on the cost of the replacement including an estimate on how long it will take. Also, will the brakes need to be bled after replacing the line? (they were bled recently about 6 months ago). Also, will the mechanic need to use a pre-bent line or will he be able to bend the line himself?

side note: I live in the city, if that affects the cost of repair.

Thank You.

The mechanic will have to use straight tubing and bend it as well as use a flaring tool to make new inverted flare connections.

DO NOT use compression fittings.

You can buy pre-bent line at inlinetube.com.
