I am having a cooling problem with my grand prix. Has new water pump and thermostat. Temp guage goes to 260 then drops to 190. Low coolant light comes on then goes out. Coolant reservoir fills completely and overflows at low speeds. When car is turned off reservoir fills and bubbles. Thinking it could be head or intake gasket, any thoughts???

No the problems only started after the waterpump went out. The car was driven about 15 miles in a hot condition to get it home

may have air block check around coolant resevior for a small screw in a hose or next to thermostat a bleeder valve. Open either add coolant till it comes out. If cah fine neither jack up front of car run add coolant until full .
