98 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl. 111000 miles. When braking the front wheels shake, and when you get up to 55mph to 65 it has a slight shimmey. when we bought new tires they said the struts where worn. would this cause the shaking or possibly something else? thankyou

Could be and warped rotor/s. Might want to check the wheel lug and spindle nuts. Or it needs a front end alignment.
