I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am SE with a V6 and 120,000 miles. I recently replaced the right side cv shaft as it was clicking and found to be bad, and a bad vibration in the front end, while replacing the CV shaft i found the bearing i the tranny that the CV shaft slides in was really loose.About 30,000 miles ago i had this same problem with a bad bearing in the transmission and bad CV shaft and bad vibration while driving so they replaced the tranny. Last time it was covered under a extended warranty but now its not so i was wondering if there is a reason why this is happening again or if there is a cheaper way to repair this problem of the bearing with out having to replace the tranny again. I have also had a alignment done recently and new tires put on to try to solve the issue. Thanks
