I took my car to a dealer and was informed there was a pcm problem. However, i saw on car prose where this person had a 2002 pontiac grandam and it said when the security light flashes for 10 minutes(in on position),& stops flashing and when you turn the ignition off and back on then the car should crank up if the word security isn't flashing. I tried that test and it cranks up each time. If i continue to do that will it be a problem? Will it still be okay for me to drive it? (it just seems to me that the only problem is whenit doesnt crank up, once i get it cranked , it drives smoothly. It seemed like it started as it got hotter outside a little over 100 or very close. What do you suggest?
