No front brakes, line broken that crosses front axle connecting right and left front wheels

Fronts do not connect to each other! You have a front wheel drive? This means you have a diagonal brake system, Right rear and left front are paired at the master cylinder....left rear and right front complete the brake circuit....Some of the GM's with antilock require the tech II scanner to bleed the antilock portion of the system...
