seems to be coming from ingition/radio area. Like a fast turn-signal noise. Click-click-click- Sometimes continuosly and other times once in a while. More often lately

Start by removing fuse box cover in engine compartment and listen to the relays in there.

Then what?
Would this cause the vehicle to die/not restart?

Relays are on or off, energized or not. If one is clicking, it should be replaced.

Had the same problem with my 2004, it was the turn signal mechanism.
