2004 Pontiac Grand Am car shakes

When we start to slow down and touch the brakes the car rattles a little like something is wrong with the wheels.

Does the car rattle or does it just shake? Can you feel it thru the brake peddle when you apply the brakes? If it is a shake and you can feel it thru the brake pedal I would say that the rotors are warped and its time to have the brakes serviced. If it is a rattle then its possible that the brake hardware in the caliper mount needs to be replaced or possible a peice of debris from the road has gotten caught in the brake system
