2003 Pontiac Grand Am Warning light

Why would the Check engine, ABS and the traction control lights come on all at the same time, this happens when shifting the car into Drive. They also stay on until the car is turned off. This happens about 40 to 50 % of the time. The car seem to drive just fine.

The two systems work together. Have you had the computer scanned?

Yes, NAPA did a computor scan and nothing came up as showing a problem. So I'm not sure what the next step is. The brake reservor was down but the light still come on. But we believe they come on as we are in reverse. If that matters.

If there are no codes, what I suggest is checking the sensors at each wheel. Look for broken or freyed wiring to the sensors.

Let me know what you find.

I did check the sensors at each Front wheel and Looked for broken or freyed wiring to the sensors, found nothing worng in fact they they looked good and clean. I also looked at the wirering harness and they seem clean to.

Would there be speed sensor at the rear wheel?
