Suspension problem
2003 Pontiac Grand Am Front Wheel Drive Automatic

That's the rear passenger side wheel to give you some perspective.
What is this snapped rod?
I researched online a bit and it looks like a rear control arm or sway bar maybe.
What is it?
I understand it's very important as I can shake the wheel around a lot, it seems that rod mates the wheel with the frame.
We're not driving it around obviously, it certainly isn't safe.
Any idea on how much it would cost to have it replaced?
