Engine Performance problem
2003 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic ? miles

upon accelarating my car starts jerking like it's getting gas off and on. I havent tried fixing anything yet. I starts up fine with no problems. I can go up to about 60 mph. And the rpm gauge starts jumping high to low, and the car is jerking badly. I don't know where the fuel filter is. There is no Problem light indicators on either. Could you help me?

Sounds like struggling for fuel as you stated. I suggest a good tune up all around. It may also be bad fuel if you recently purchased fuel at location that you normally do not use. If you want to just change fuel filter, it should be located underneath the car, towards the back and behind the fuel tank.

Need instructions for replacing any components? Just ask and you shall receive!
