Fuel pumps does not always work. Changed the fuel filter but it didn't solve the problem, pounded on the gas tank and the pump started running, there are times when the pump won't run, hit the tank and it starts to run. Can the problem be something other than the fuel pump ???????

Its the Fuel pump for sure, make sure you get a new one that is OEM, it will cost more money, but the other model's may not work in yours.
