Electrical problem
2003 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 126000 miles

I am so stressed out with this car and all of the repair shop visits. Okay here are my issues:
1. The Check Engine light stays on all the time.
2. Last night I noticed that when I used my signals, the signal sound continues once the turn has been made, but slows down and stops for a few seconds then starts ticking again.
3. Also last night and today the Service Vehicle Soon, Trac Off and ABS lights come on when I back up. If I turn off the car and turn it back on the lights are no longer on.
I had the car computer scanned at my local auto parts store and it says the catalyst system efficiency for bank 1 is below threshold.
Recent work (last 6-8 mos): Fuel Pump and Catalytic converter.
Please help. I can't keep throwing away 500-700 a pop to get my car back on the road.
