When was the last time the transmission serviced?

Could be a problem with the throttle position and vehicle speed sensors-these sensors inputs signals to the computer as an indication of throttle and governor pressure and in turn the computer activates certain shift solenoids to provide the upshifts/downshifts, lock-up etc.
