My 2002 Grand Am has intermitent problems with the ABS, TRAC and BRAKE light going on at the same time. It seems to only happen when I go over rough roads. They haven't come on for some time now but the BRAKE light now has come on and won't go off. I never use the Ebrake but double checked it anyway. The brakes seem to work fine and I drive 72 miles a day for work.

Can anyone tell me what to try or look for.

Not only the brake light alone but for also when they all three come on.

Thanks
Donna

Your traction control light could be triggered by rough or washboard roads. If the TC light stays off under normal driving conditions, I wouldn't be too concerned. The brake light, however, is usually tripped by a bypassing condition in the brake master cylinder. A good indication is, if you gently hold pressure on the brake pedal with engine running and in park, you will feel the pedal "slowly" go down. This is indicative of a bad master. Please advise.
