Transmission problem
2001 Pontiac Grand Am Two Wheel Drive Automatic

do I need transmission fluid? I had a new water pump put in with new theromsat. now it jerks when
I gofrom reverse to drive then from 1st to second and after I reach 30 miles an hour it seems okay..
or could it be my transmission or a sensor?

Start by checking fluid, on level ground with engine running.

If low, fill to mark and check axle seals for leaks.
