The temperature gage doesnt move when engine warms up although there is good heat coming out of heater when turned on. Also the radiator fans go on when engine is still cold. Can the temp sending unit be bad?

Temp sending sensor, coolant temp. Sensor and possibility the fan switch. Also the gauge itself could be bad.

Best thing to do is to have the car scanned in live data mode to observe the temp. The PCM is showing.

I have had the same problems. Replaced sensor and it worked for a week. Just finished replacing the thermostat and works like a charm.
