I've been hearing a squeaking/squawking noise for awhile whenever I go over bumps etc. Last week when I'd go over a bump, or turn a corner sharply, I'd hear a LOUD knocking sound in the rear of the car, and I could feel it as well. Took it in, and they told me that both struts were going to need replacing. Would they be the cause of that squeaking noise I've been hearing all this time? Just curious.

that is very possible that the struts are causing the squeaking noise you are hearing.

could also be ball joints. the vehicle is getting up there in miles.
