Shakes or Wobbles problem
2000 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 151K miles

I am not getting any spark from plug 1 and 4. I put new coil in, also switched with the one that works. Tryed plugs, tryed control mod, did a oms set on the cover that the coils sit in. Changed CKPS, TPS. I have gone over the wiring and still skipping. I put my scan tool on and the computer says everything is good. No codes and not skipping. I have not changed the Cam sensor. I, m leaning towards a PCM. What your thoughts?

Spometimes an OHM test of the coil housing is not a difinative test. It could tet good, but stillcasue a no spark condition.
This would not be a PCM problem. Pcm does not control spark to individual cyliunders.
If not the cover, then check for poor ground wire connections at the trans - engine bellhosuing. From the front of the car, look down between the engine/trans. And the radiator. There are a few ground that can be attached, but will break if you tug on them a little bit. This can cause problems on 1-4, or 3-4. Lso look closely at the spark plug wire boots.
Again, suspect that cover, even though it OHMs out OK.

It turned out being the cover. All the spark times where going to the 2 3 cyclinders. Which ended up melting the spark plugs. New cover and plugs and it off and running. Thanks for the info!
