2000 Pontiac Grand Am motor change

Is it possible to put a 3.8 litre motor in place of a 3.4 if so what all needs to be changed

No, it's really not possible. You would have to change the Trans, all motoro/trans mounts, complete wiring harness and computer. If you did all that, the 3.8 is a longer, wider engine, so it physically would not fit in the smaller car.
