Good day,
Last Saturday I had my transmission serviced at Aamco, and on the invoice the service person stated they used Mercon on my vehicle. Will Mercon, which i understand is used for for ford vehicles cause my GM vehicle and known problems. The trans filter and fluid was serviced and now m car jerks at speeds above 70 mph? What do I do to fix this problem?

There is a DextronIII/Mercon fluid that works on GM and some Ford vehicles.

But I would also take vehicle back for the jerking problem.
