2000 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my air conditioner is not cooling that much I bought a freon kit for walmart and according to it my freon is full, are those kit any good, what could be the problem

When adding freon, the engine must be running and AC on max, add to low side (low and high side connectors are different sizes, so it only fits one fitting).

AC clutch should be engaging when adding freon, if not then no freon will flow.

Cause is most likely a leak in system, or faulty clutch.

It is best to get it serviced by a professional shop, evacuate system, and see if AC system will hold vacuum, if not the leak will have to be repaired before adding freon.
