Transmission problem
1999 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My 1999 Grand am got a motor change about a three weeks ago, so i thought it was workin fine. Until i notice everytime i would speed up, the car would jump. The more i drive it the more it makes a jump and i really wanna know whats wrong. the mecanic told me it had to do with the transmission but i really don't know what it could be?

An engine that needs tuning will affect the operation of the transmission. In your case sounds like a harsh shift coming from the transmission
