Once temp gets to 210-220 fans kick on, temp gauge drops to 100 & RPM raises to 1000 for a few seconds (maybe seven)

Fans continue to run on high & temp gauge will stay at 100 for remainder of day.

NOTE: In addition, both when changing gears from park to drive or park to reverse, and during drive trans will change with much force. As if mounts need changing.
Also, only time trans changes with force is after above senerio of temp gauge/fans has occurred.

I've had cooling troubles before as well. Had to change out thermostat, resevour, some sensors, some hoses, as well as finally changing engine in hopes of eliminating these issues.

Please help! I'm at a lost.

I think I might try a coolant temp sensor first but this may ultimately need a new PCM.

Thank you so much for your reply to my question. I do opologize, but I'm not familiar with the term pcm. Can you give more detail as to what this item is for and where its found in engine.

Thanking you in advance

PCM= Powertrain Control Module

This is the main computer or engine control.
