I have been having trouble with my car overheating for a while now. I have had many thongs replaced on it: intake gasket, resvoir tank, water pump, etc. I cant seem to figure out why my car is overheating and I think it may be the heater core. There is a leak coming from somewhere close to the firewall. It's leaking on the outside but not the inside. I cant see any hoses or anything that could be leaking where it is leaking from. Do you have any idea what couls cause this?

Have the system pressure tested, this will show up any external coolant leaks, have radiator professionally cleaned and replace thermostat. These are the basic thing to do first.
