I have a 1999 grand am 4 door, the passenger back door will not close. My friend got out of the car when shutting the door, it will not close now

Check the striker bolt on door jamb, it may be loose or worn.

Sometimes the lock in door will get stuck, you can use a lube and screwdriver to fix, use other door as an example.
