Engine Cooling problem
1999 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive

i have changed the water pump and thermostat. My car is still overheating and has no heat. There seems to be a small leak around the pulleys but cant locate it.

Start by checking coolant level, if OK check that cooling fans are working, If OK then presure test the cooling system to isolate leak.

Leak will have to be repaired, and I would flush cooling system, if you see a brown chocolate color coolant, the heater core is most likely clogged.
