Thermostat stuck closed--engine overheating. Thermostat stuck open-- it may take longer for the engine to reach operating temp. Is your temp gage acting normal? Other issues could cause the same problems. I don't worry about a thermostat, I just change it, if I suspect something.

Just my opinion, 215 isn't overheating, no where close. The cooling fans my not even kick on till around 220. If your worried about the thermostat, change it.
