When I was driving my car, my battery light came on then my oil light came on, then my wheel locked up and cut off. I got my car towed back to my house and let it sit for a few days. Now when I try to start it up, it will only stay on if I keep my foot on the acceleration, but the oil light remains on. Without that being done, it shuts off after about 5 seconds. What could that possibly be? And can I do it myself?

Your engine has a "oil pressure sensor" that will shut the fuel pump off if it detects low or no oil pressure.

There's more than one cause of this. It could be your engine is low on oil, the pump has failed, there's a blockage in an oil passage or the filter is extremely clogged.

You'll have to have that checked out.
