My dome and floor lights stay on for 20 mins whenever they turn on. Is there anyway to fix this? Will it pass a Maryland inspection like this?

Hi
Problem is timer circuit in Multifunction Module located in convenience center underdash left of collumn. No repair dealer item. Are all floor bulbe lighting up? Ask cause if a couple are out time is load sentive and will stay on longer. Noy sure about Maryland inspection but would see no reason to fail for coursety light snafu.
