1997 Pontiac Grand Am Car starts and runs for a few seconds

I have a 1997 Pontic Grand Am. I have replaced the fuel filter and pump. The car will start and run for a few seconds then shuts off. It will stay running if I spray carb cleaner into the throttle body. What could this be?
