I hit a little dip a week ago and bottomed out a little bit going about 40mph. Now, I hear a grinding, rubbing noise coming from the front drivers side. I can't tell if it's in the tranny or perhaps the wheel. One mechanic said it could be the transmission mount and the other said he thinks it could be the transmission bearing. I also heard something about a bottom dog bone motor mount...? I need a solid answer please. What is most likely the problem?

Raise car, put on stands, remove wheel and inspect suspension, ball joint and CV axle.
