I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am with radio problems. It receives a signal, and the clock keeps time, but there is no sound coming out of the speakers. I checked the wiring harness, and it is good (no broken wires). Is there any possible quick and easy fix for this? I am not a mechanic by any means, but I do have a little bit of electrical experience. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like the Amp in the radio is the problem. It is cheaper to get one from the salvage yard or install an after market. You can't fix those radios.

I've posted this same question on a couple of other sites, and they're saying the same thing. Looks like I'm getting a new radio.
