Radio will not work

Removed original radio and replace it with a new radio. Wired everything perfect and the radio will not play. Is this a security feature and how can you get past this.?

Is the radio powering up at all, do you have a separate amp in the original set up, i will check the wiring to see what i find.

some models have an amp some do not, if yous does you may have lost the power up to the amp check that as well.
