I have a 1994 pontiac grand am gt. 174,000 miles. i recently took off the digital egr valve and noticed a tan sludge almost like a foam in the egr passage. it doesn't smell at all but not sure why this is. i cleaned it and pulled it again and comes back. why might be causing this?? the car runs ok, no loss of power or anything major performance wise. do i have a gasket leak somewhere. my oil and coolant resevoirs look ok. no mixing of oil and water as i can see. checked out and changed the oil, looks ok. any advice would be appreciated.
