Hi there,

just flick out the old seal with a screw driver, taking care not to damage the seal surface, there is a special tool for inserting a new seal, but many mechanics just carefully tap it in with a small hammer, ensure that the seal lip is well oiled and you must ensure that the new seal lip is not turned over when installing, this is very much a feel thing, if you can, it would be safer to get a mechanic to fit the seal as if it leaks, out comes the transmission again.
